Client: OpenRoad Mazda
Challenge: Dealership Parking
Being the #1 Mazda Dealership in Western Canada, OpenRoad Mazda in Port Moody, B.C. struggled to find adequate parking that
plagues many busy dealerships. With such a massive fleet of vehicles, they were challenged with space restrictions due to their
tight-spaced parking lot, no street parking and a sharply sloped lot.
When they approached Babco with their parking woes we were able to find a great solution that not only saved them a lot of space
but gave them a way to showcase more vehicles. By installing 10 BendPak PL-14000 TripleStackers in a tiered formation, we were able
to overcome the drastically sloped parking lot and create 30 parking spots out of the original 10.
By overcoming this parking problem, Babco was able to create a reliable and safe solution to OpenRoad Mazda concerns by freeing
up not only parking spaces but valuable time so their salespeople could do what they do best – selling cars.
The Power of Ten
We took advantage of the PL-14000's space-saving qualities by utilizing 10 of them for OpenRoad Mazda's outdoor area - creating 30 parking spaces out of 10. More parking spots and a place to showcase the lineup to customers not only in the lot but on the busy sktrain as well.
The Only Way Is Up
We took a tiered approach to installing the BendPak PL-14000s as OpenRoad Mazda's lot consisted of a sharply sloped incline. By ganging the BendPak PL-14000s in sets of 3, we created a stable, secure and safe structure - a win-win.
