Yes, the optional Access Panel gives you access to the underside of the Vehicle that is raised, making your parking lift into a service lift as well. Each Access Panel works in place of three Platform sections and you can install up to two Access Panels per Auto Stacker
The lifts are designed for indoor use, however in some instances modifications can be made so that they can be used outdoors. A weatherproof cover for the power unit would be required, as well as possible other modifications. See your parking lift specialist for more information.
Although concrete is always the best solution, we can install the Autostacker on asphalt if it is prepared properly. One of our Parking specialists would be happy to guide you through the process of product selection and site preparation.
Yes, our BR-6000, Bipark and Autostackers can be install outdoor with some accessories. The triples and other options also have their outdoor accessories.
Yes. The included Hydraulic Hoses are long enough to support the Console being up to 30 inches away on either side. If you want, you could go to your local hydraulics shop and get longer, custom made Hydraulic Hoses that give you greater latitude for where you put your Console.
The inner two runways can be adjusted between narrow and wide settings. There are two tabs in the middle of the cross tubes to prevent the inner runway from sliding too far inside. To adjust, slide it over to the appropriate distance.
No, Auto Stacker works great either way. The deciding factor could be accessibility to the vehicle parked on it and the location of the doors. Try both ways to see which works best in your specific situation.
Auto Stacker works great with ceilings as low as 10 feet. However, the height of the ceiling does impact what cars you can park on the Lift. Refer to Ceiling height calculator on our website, https://www.babco.ca/BendPak-A6S-AutoStacker
As long as you want, if it is on a Safety Lock. Once the Lift is engaged on a Safety Lock, gravity holds it in position, so a loss of power does not impact it; it is going to stay where you left it. Always leave the Runways either fully lowered or engaged on a Safety Lock
The Master Power Unit can support up to 12 Auto Stacker Lifts, although only one Lift can be operated at one time.

The Auto Stacker has 5 safety locks giving good selectability on vehicle height.
TSSA is the Technical Safety Standard Authority in Ontario. They are the safety regulator for Elevating & Amusement Devices, Ski Lifts, Fuels, Boilers & Pressure Vessels and Operating Engineers. Parking lifts fall into the elevating devices category but ONLY for commercial properties. If your lift(s) is to be installed in a business, warehouse, or hotel ... you must get it TSSA approved. For residential projects, if the lift is for residential property and your personal use, TSSA doesn't apply. If you have any doubts, feel free to reach out to us.
Yes, we have TSSA trained and certified installers. Babco takes it even further and can offer you to take care of the whole TSSA process.
The Bendpak Autostacker is an interesting option for commercial parking. Indeed the lift is available in 2 sizes, the standard A6S and in extended width, the A6W. Each option can be set up as multi-configuration by sharing a Master power unit. It will save space by removing all single power units/consoles and simplify maintenance. Each lift will still have its control panel and can be used independently. The master power unit can handle up to 10 Autostackers.
For optimal space optimization, we suggest considering a compact design such as 2-post (Biparks, BR-6000) or scissor lifts (Bendpak Autostacker A6S/A6W), especially for outdoor use.

It will depend on the province of installation, each province has or does not have a specific authority to regulate parking lifts. Some provinces require an extra process, but Babco has the resources to guide you through most of them. Don't hesitate to ask your sales representative for more details.
While our 4 post lifts are quite low profile and have very few issues with clearance, we suggest purchasing our extended aluminum ramps or rubber ramp extensions for any lowered vehicles.
Most of the lifts under 10,000 lbs require 4.25" concrete thickness, 3000 PSI. Confirm with a sales rep with the model you are inquiring about.
The BR-6000 is a 2-post lift with a combination of hydraulic and chain systems. It can be installed in multi-unit configuration with a full unit sharing a post for 1, 2, 3 or more units. The Bipark is fully hydraulic with a more compact design, it can not be installed in multi-configuration. Though it has very interesting safety features and uses the best of Italian know-how.
